Our Agreement with You:

These terms and conditions govern the relationship between you, the traveler, and Zian Peru Travel. By booking a trip with us, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

 

Booking and Payment:

 Booking Process: To book a trip, you must complete our booking form and pay a deposit as specified.

Payment Methods: We accept payments by PayPal, credit card, bank transfer, and other methods as indicated on our website. 

Cancellations and Refunds:

Cancellation by You: If you cancel your trip, cancellation fees will apply as follows:

  • 24 hrs before departure time: (100)% refund
  •  Less than 24 hrs days before departure: No refund

Cancellation by Us: We reserve the right to cancel a trip due to unforeseen circumstances, such as natural disasters, political instability, or insufficient bookings. In this case, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule your trip.

Itinerary Changes:  

Changes by Us: We reserve the right to make changes to the itinerary due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or other factors beyond our control.

 Changes by You: If you wish to make changes to your itinerary, we will do our best to accommodate your request, but additional fees may apply.

Keep in mind:

 Limitations: We are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage caused by events beyond our control, such as accidents, illnesses, or theft.

Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance to cover medical expenses, trip cancellations, and other unforeseen events.

Passport, Visas, and Health:

Responsibility: It is your responsibility to ensure that you have a valid passport, visas, and any required vaccinations for your destination.

Travel Advisories: We advise you to check travel advisories issued by your government before traveling.

To consider:

Respectful Behavior: We expect all travelers to behave respectfully towards our staff, other travelers, and local communities.

Consequences: We reserve the right to terminate your trip if you engage in disruptive or inappropriate behavior.

Complaints:

Procedure: If you have a complaint during your trip, please notify our staff immediately.

 Resolution: We will do our best to solve the issue to your satisfaction. If you are not satisfied, you may submit a written complaint to us.

Remember:

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website.

HEALTH AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

  • A vaccination card with at least two doses is mandatory.

  • Wearing a double mask is required. If using a KN95 mask, only one is necessary. A face shield is optional. Passengers failing to comply will not be allowed to board the vehicle.

  • Clients showing signs of fever or flu symptoms will not be permitted to board.

  • Masks may only be removed while eating. Otherwise, they must be worn at all times during the tour and inside the vehicle.

PRICING AND REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION

  • Children aged 5 and older must pay full fare. Children between 5 and 12 are considered minors for pricing purposes.

  • All passengers must bring a valid ID or Passport for the excursion.

  • Prices do not include VAT (18%), which applies to invoices and receipts.

  • Credit/debit card payments incur no extra charges, but they are not eligible for 7-day advance promotions or discounts and must be paid at the standard rate.

  • If a participant cannot travel, replacements are allowed by notifying the agency at least one day in advance.

CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS, AND NO-SHOW POLICY

  • If a passenger from a group fails to show up, the remaining members must cover the full payment. Failure to do so allows the agency to exclude the group from any part of the tour without recourse.

  • No refunds are issued for no-shows.

  • Cancellations and postponements are accepted up to 48 hours before the tour date, subject to a processing fee. (Not applicable for 2-day tours.)

  • Reservations made less than 48 hours before the tour cannot be canceled or rescheduled. (Not applicable for 2-day tours.)

  • Rescheduling incurs a S/15 per person penalty, accepted up to 48 hours before departure. Only one date change is permitted.

  • If a participant cannot travel due to health reasons, a medical certificate is required. In cases of Covid-19, a positive test taken within 24 hours before departure is mandatory. The agency may evaluate options for rescheduling but will not issue refunds.

  • Tours may be rescheduled due to uncontrollable circumstances (weather, road closures, accidents, etc.), but no refunds will be provided in such cases.

PUNCTUALITY, SERVICE, AND TOUR OPERATION

  • Seating is first-come, first-served and cannot be reserved.

  • The departure waiting time will not exceed the scheduled time. Late arrivals will not be accommodated, refunded, or rescheduled.

  • The tour guide will make up to three (3) contact attempts with late passengers. After five (5) minutes of no response, the tour will proceed without them. The passenger must cover their transportation to the next meeting point. (Not applicable to boarding points.)

  • Participants must follow all guide instructions and schedules. Failure to comply may result in exclusion from the tour.

  • Any disrespect, violence, or aggression toward staff or other participants will result in immediate removal from the tour without refund.

  • No one may enter or remain inside the vehicle without authorization from the guide.

  • Boarding is prohibited while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs. In such cases, authorities may be contacted.

  • Activities may be replaced with equal or better alternatives due to weather or unforeseen events. Refunds will only be provided for activities that cannot be replaced.

  • Our buses do not have onboard restrooms. Vehicle size depends on group size and availability.

  • Vehicles comply with biosafety protocols and Tourist SOAT Insurance (MTC-approved), allowing full passenger capacity.

  • Tourist transport is outsourced and meets MTC regulations. Despite pre-trip inspections, mechanical failures may occur. If necessary, passengers will be assisted in transferring to a replacement vehicle.

  • Photos taken during the tour belong to the agency and may be published online. Passengers may request exclusion from photos before they are taken. Once uploaded, images cannot be removed.

  • During peak seasons, departure times may be adjusted by 10–15 minutes to ensure timely arrival at destinations.

  • The itinerary schedule is for reference only and may be adjusted by the guide.

  • Children under 5 years old do not pay, but must travel on a parent’s lap. Entrance fees to attractions (if applicable) must be paid separately.

PASSENGER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The agency is not responsible for lost items. Cleaning staff will dispose of left-behind belongings.

  • Passengers must follow safety guidelines given by the tour guide, including boarding and walking instructions.

  • On peak dates or holidays, passengers must adhere to capacity restrictions and tour guide instructions to ensure smooth entry to attractions.

  • Passengers must ensure they are fit for travel. The agency is not responsible for medical issues arising during the tour.

  • Passengers must read the itinerary before booking. The agency is not responsible for misunderstandings regarding fees, taxes, schedules, or seating arrangements.

  • Passengers who refuse to pay the remaining balance, required tourist taxes, or seat assignments may be excluded from the tour.

  • Children may be restricted from certain activities based on their age and must be supervised by their guardians at all times.

POLICIES FOR TOURS LASTING 2+ DAYS

  • Children 3 years and older must pay for two-day tours due to hotel policies.

  • A 50% deposit is required for reservations, and no cancellations, rescheduling, or refunds are accepted once booked.

  • Minimum 2 people per booking for accommodations on multi-day tours.

ADVENTURE SPORTS POLICY

  • The agency is not responsible for any health issues arising after the tour.

  • Passengers may be required to sign a liability waiver before participating. Refusal to sign will result in exclusion from the activity without refund.

  • Adventure sports (rafting, zip-lining, ATVs, tubing, biking, horseback riding, boating, etc.) involve inherent risks. Participation is voluntary, and the agency is not responsible for accidents or expenses related to these activities.
